Physiotherapy appointments are a standard 30 minutes unless specifically requested to last longer. If you are using private medical insurance to fund a one hour appointment, two separate authorisation codes will be required, or alternatively half of the session will have to be self funded.

The cost of a 30 minute physiotherapy appointment is £70.00. Equity members, Musicians' Union members and students are charged the discounted rate of £55.00, you will need to bring the relevant documentation with you to qualify for the discount. We are also offering 30 minute Skype/Zoom/WhatsApp video consultations for £55 for both self paying and insurance (AXA PPP and Bupa only) clients. Equity members, Musicians' Union members and students will receive a discounted rate of £45. This is to ensure continuity of treatment when face to face intervention is not possible. Sports massages are booked for 1 hour and are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The cost of 1 hour sports massage is £80.00 or £70.00 for Equity members, Musicians' Union members and students. 


Clients under the age of 16 years need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone and those under 18 years but over 16 years must provide written consent to treatment from a parent or guardian at their first appointment.

Insurance and Cancellation

Physio Ed Medical Ltd is a recognised physiotherapy provider for all major private medical insurance companies. If you are claiming your treatment costs through private medical insurance only BUPA and AXA PPP patients (where applicable) will have their accounts billed directly to the relevant insurance company. BUPA and AXA PPP patients will need to provide details of their membership number and authorisation code for direct billing. Settlement of the account in full on the day of treatment will be required in the absence of these details.

BUPA and AXA PPP are now funding these remote physiotherapy session as they would a normal session, please note BUPA are only funding follow up sessions.

Non BUPA and AXA PPP patients will need to settle their account on the day of treatment and reclaim monies using the receipt provided.

A 24 hour cancellation policy is in place. Late cancellation or non attendance will result in a charge for the full cost of the appointment. Please note that appointments booked and cancelled on the same day are subject to a late cancellation fee. This cannot be claimed through private medical insurance.
