General information

Physiotherapy appointments are a standard 30 minutes in length. These can be extended to 60 minutes upon request.

Clients under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone and those aged between 16 and 18 years must provide written consent to treatment from a parent or guardian at their first appointment.

We offer discounts for students, members of Equity, Musician’s Union, Spotlight and ISM. To qualify for the discounted rate, you must bring relevant documentation to your appointment otherwise you will be billed the full fee.

One to one physio led exercise training sessions are available within our gym floor. Gym sessions can be either 30 minutes or 60 minutes in length. 

Sports massages are booked for 1 hour and are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

We also offer Shockwave Therapy for those with a variety of lower and upper limb conditions.

Insurance

Physio Ed Medical Ltd is a recognised physiotherapy provider by most major private medical insurance companies.

If you are claiming your treatment costs through private medical insurance, only BUPA and AXA Health patients (where applicable) will have their accounts billed directly to the relevant insurance company. BUPA and AXA Health patients will need to provide details of their membership number and authorisation code for direct electronic billing. Settlement of the account in full on the day of treatment will be required in the absence of these details.

You need to contact your insurer in order to pre-authorise your treatment at Physio Ed Medical Ltd. The clinic’s provider numbers are:

Non BUPA and AXA Health patients will need to settle their bill on the day of treatment and claim the money back through their insurance company using the receipt provided.

Cancellations

A 24 hour cancellation policy is in place. Late cancellation will incur an invoice for the full fee of the appointment. The same policy is in place for failure to attend your appointment. This fee cannot be claimed through your private medical insurance.

Please note that appointments booked and cancelled on the same day are subject to a late cancellation fee.
