Physio Ed Medical Ltd is a recognised physiotherapy provider for all major private medical insurance companies. If you are claiming your treatment costs through private medical insurance only BUPA and AXA PPP patients (where applicable) will have their accounts billed directly to the relevant insurance company. BUPA and AXA PPP patients will need to provide details of their membership number and authorisation code for direct billing. Settlement of the account in full on the day of treatment will be required in the absence of these details.
BUPA and AXA PPP are now funding these remote physiotherapy session as they would a normal session, please note BUPA are only funding follow up sessions.
If you are attending either the Wimpole Street practice, the Belsize Park practice or both, you must inform AXA PPP of which or both venues you will be attending. This has implications for billing, as patients at Belsize Park will need to provide the individual clinicians’ details for invoices to be accurately processed rather than the practice name. Patients who are only attending at Wimpole Street will only need to provide the practice details (Physio Ed Medical Ltd, 62 Wimpole Street, W1G 8AJ) not the individual clinician when obtaining their authorisation code.
Non BUPA and AXA PPP patients will need to settle their account on the day of treatment and reclaim monies using the receipt provided.
A 24 hour cancellation policy is in place. Late cancellation or non attendance will result in a charge for the full cost of the appointment. Please note that appointments booked and cancelled on the same day are subject to a late cancellation fee. This cannot be claimed through private medical insurance.
